Steering Committee

The Steering Committee is a body with legal personality established to manage the Broader Approach Agreement. It has the following responsibilities:
a) appointing staff to its own Secretariat;
b) appointing a Project Leader for each of the Broader Approach activities;
c) approving the project plan, work programme and annual report of each project;
d) approving the structure of each project team;
e) appointing annually the expert staff of each project team;
f) deciding on the conditions of participation in a broader approach project of any other signatory of the ITER Agreement;
g) any other function necessary to supervise the Broader Approach Agreement.
